Torino winger Alessio Cerci has distanced himself from reports he could be moving to England with Andre Villas-Boas interested.
The 26-year-old has been linked with all the top sides in England and Villas-Boas was thought to be keen to take him.
Spurs along with Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool were all said to have scouts at Craven Cottage on Monday when Italy drew with Nigeria and Cerci shone but the player himself claims he has not been in touch with anyone.
"It's not true. I haven't spoken to anyone," Cerci told Tuttosport.
President Urbano Cairo told TMW: "I haven't received any calls from England for Cerci, even if I read in the newspapers that there is interest from British clubs.
"As far as I am concerned, there's no truth to it. Will he stay at Torino in January? Of course."
