Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas is being linked with a move for his former Porto winger Christian Atsu but faces competition.
The 20-year-old was given his debut by Villas-Boas when he was in charge of the Portuguese giants and now he is being linked with a move for the player again, although he is not alone as both Everton and Sunderland have been credited with an interest as well.
Atsu has an £8m buy-out clause in his present contract which comes to an end in the summer of 2014 but that would not put off any would-be suitors and Villas-Boas hopes his previous connections with the player will help swing a move in his favour.
Atsu is a full Ghana international with 13 caps and has gone on to establish himself as one of the brightest talents in Portuguese football, which has alerted the attentions of the trio of English clubs.
