Richard Money has revealed that all Walsall players will have their fitness checked on regular occasions throughout the coming season.
The new manager will put a big emphasis on fitness and match preparation ahead of the upcoming campaign, as the Saddlers look to bounce back into League One at the first time of asking.
The club have arranged to use the state-of-the-art equipment at the local campus of Wolverhampton University to help monitor the players.
Money told the Express and Star: "We will be carefully monitoring and testing players at regular intervals.
"I've been over to the Walsall campus of the university and they have some first class equipment and laboratories there.
"It's essential that we keep up with a modern way of thinking."
