Harley urges Hornets run

WatfordWatford defender Jon Harley feels the Hornets are in a false position in the Championship and says there is still belief in the camp.

Aidy Boothroyd's side won their first league game since the end of August at the weekend when they came from behind to beat Preston 2-1, with Harley on target along with Tommy Smith.

Watford are now in 19th place, four points off the top six, and Harley claims promotion is still the target.

"The start we've had isn't a fair reflection of how we feel we have done. We feel we should be higher," said the summer signing.

"As soon as the transfer window closed, we knew this is the squad we had to go on with and we believe it is as good as anyone else's. It's not a problem to us.

"Our aim before the season was to get promotion and that has not changed. It's not the start we would have liked but we still have belief."
