Jon Harley is set to deputise for Tom Cleverley if the loan man fails to shake off a knee injury for Watford's visit of Bristol City.

Harley deputised for the Manchester United starlet in the 1-0 defeat at Barnsley on Saturday and is set for a run out at Vicarage Road on Tuesday if he is again ruled out of the game following a late fitness test. However Hornets chief Malky Mackay could be tempted to hand recent signing Stephen McGinn a start against the Robins.

Winger Will Buckley, who also joined the Hornets in January, will be included if he shakes off a thigh strain in time, while Arsenal loanee Henri Lansbury will keep his place in the team after showing no ill-effects from a stomach bug at Oakwell. Striker Danny Graham has been restricted to substitute appearances in the last three games and is pushing for a recall to the first XI.
