Watford have confirmed the completed free-transfer capture of Aberdeen midfielder Scott Severin, who will pen a two-year contract.
The 30-year-old has been long linked with a summer switch to Vicarage Road, after falling out of contract with the SPL club, and now officially becomes Malky Mackay's first signing.
With Severin's Aberdeen deal expiring next week, the former Scotland international will officially sign a two-year contract when the Hornets players return for pre-season training next Wednesday.
The versatile Severin, who started his career at Hearts, won 14 caps for his country and has scored 27 goals in over 340 first-team appearances.
