Watford midfielder Tom Cleverley is continuing to make good progress from a knee injury and is hoping to return against Bristol City.

The Hornets take on the Robins on Tuesday as they look to bounce back from the 1-0 defeat at Barnsley on Saturday and boss Malky Mackay will hope key man Cleverley is back.

The on-loan Manchester United midfielder missed Saturday's defeat but it looks like he will be ready to play against Gary Johnson's side.

If he fails to make it, however, Jon Harley is likely to again deputise.
