West Brom have been told by Groclin Dyskobolia to increase their offer for Poland midfielder Radoslaw Majewski.

Talks between the two clubs are ongoing although Groclin are understood to be holding out for a fee in the region of £2.3million. Albion, however, are not willing to go that high.

West Brom officials are optimistic a deal for the 21-year-old can be reached, but the Polish League Cup winners have warned they are under no pressure to sell.

Tadeusz Fajfer, the Polish club's sporting director, told the Birmingham Mail: "There have been offers from West Bromwich Albion as part of our discussions but we haven't agreed a fee.

"I'm not going to reveal our price but they are still some way from it.

"They keep lifting the price but it's not yet close to our valuation for Radoslaw.

"We will see what happens. It's not up to us to push this move through - if West Bromwich or any club want him then it's up to them."
