Morgan Amalfitano's agent says it is 'impossible' for Roma or Juventus to sign him in January and the player is very happy at Albion.
It has been claimed in Italy that the Serie A giants could compete for Amalfitano's signature, if not in January, then when his Albion loan stint ends in the summer.
Baggies boss Steve Clarke is keen to hang onto the 27-year-old Marseille midfielder who has impressed everyone with his talent and workrate since arriving from France.
But his performances have also attracted the attention of Roma, who sit top of Serie A with seven straight wins, and 2013 champions Juventus.
Roma are now managed by Frenchman Rudi Garcia who knows Amalfitano well, having been coach of Lille for five years before taking up the position in Italy.
However, Amalfitano's agent said there is no chance of his client leaving The Hawthorns in the next transfer window.
Ludovic Fattizzo said: "The boy at the moment is very happy where he is, the Premier League excites him.
"We will not see him transfer now, indeed I would say that there is zero chance for January, maybe in June.
"We will discuss this issue again in February after the winter market."
