West Brom will have to beat off Premier League rivals Aston Villa and Swansea if they want to sign FC Twente forward Nacer Chadli.
The 23-year-old Belgium star has attracted the attentions of several Premier League clubs this summer following a successful season in the Netherlands where he scored 13 goals for Twente.
Baggies boss Steve Clarke was linked with a move for Chadli earlier in the summer, while Midlands rivals Villa were mooted as potential suitors as reports claimed boss Paul Lambert wanted to pair him up with fellow countryman and forward Christian Benteke.
And Swansea are the latest club to express an interest amid claims that the Welsh outfit have dropped their attempt to sign Vitesse Arnhem's £10million-rated striker Wilfried Bony because of personal terms and will go for Chadli instead.
Chadli will cost in the region of £8.5million and might have to make a straight choice between the three clubs should they all make an acceptable offer to FC Twente.
