West Brom are sending a scout to check on Anderlecht and Olympiakos players in tonight's Champions League match in Brussels.
Anderlecht are expecting scouts from six English and seven German clubs for the home clash with the Greek champions, with 16-year-old Belgian midfielder Yoeri Tielemans thought to be the main attraction.
Chelsea and Manchester United are sending representatives to the match in the hope of another glimpse of the Belgian Under-21 star who Jose Mourinho's spies watched at the weekend.
Reports in Belgian claim fellow midfielder Dennis Praet could also be a transfer target in the January window, but Anderlecht do not want to sell Tielemans so soon after he broke into their first team.
Albion could also be keeping tabs on Olympiakos' Greek international centre-back Kostas Manolas who was linked with Sunderland, Fulham and Spurs at the weekend.
But with the 22-year-old's contract not due to expire until 2016, his club are unlikely to entertain any bids less than £6m - a figure they are believed to have quoted Zenit St Petersburg during the summer.
Tielemans could, however, turn out to be a realistic loan target for Albion if Chelsea or Manchester United snap him up.
