Peter Odemwingie claims West Brom's win against Chelsea was their 'best three points' of the season to date.
The 31-year-old Nigerian hitman grabbed the second goal of the game at the Hawthorns as Steve Clarke's men defeated the European champions 2-1 and put one over former Baggies boss Roberto Di Matteo, who signed him for Albion from Lokomotiv Moscow in 2010.
And, after heaping praise on Shane Long, who scored the first and set up the second goal, after he played despite the death of his grandmother just before kick-off, Odemwingie was in no doubt that the victory is the highlight of what as been a fantastic start to the season.
He said: "It was the best three points. It maybe wasn't our best game but it was the best three points of the season because a good test came in the latter stages where we needed to take away all the doubts about our great start.
"We needed to show people against a big club that we have started well and we want to continue that way."
