Steve Clarke is being linked with a possible swoop to take Swiss side Lugano's Albanian striker Armando Sadiku to West Brom.
The Baggies boss has already drafted in French veteran Nicolas Anelka on a free transfer this summer, but with Peter Odemwingie set to leave along with Markus Rosenberg and Marc-Antoine Fortune, while last season's loan hero Romelu Lukaku has returned to Chelsea, Clarke has plenty of space to fill in attack.
Former Chelsea star Salomon Kalou is one of several strikers to be linked with the club and Sadiku is the latest to be mentioned with regards a move to the Hawthorns.
Reports in the Italian press are claiming that the 22-year-old, who has seven caps for Albania and has already been linked with a move to Juventus, could be snapped up by the Baggies.
Sadiku only joined Lugano last summer and he has bagged an impressive 18 goals in 27 appearances in the Swiss top flight having scored 28 in 39 outings for their Swiss rivals Locarno the season before.
