Tranmere have secured the services of West Brom loanee Donervorn Daniels for a further month.

The 19-year-old centre-back has made five appearances since initially moving to Prenton Park in November and started the npower League One leaders' three consecutive victories over the festive period.

Rovers manager Ronnie Moore told his club's official website: "I'm pleased to be able to keep Donervorn for another month.

"With Ben Gibson back at Middlesbrough for injury treatment I was keen to keep hold of Donervorn.

"He's been on the pitch for four-and-a-half games and in that time we've picked up nine points and kept two clean sheets. He's fitted in really well with the rest of the squad and is improving game by game.

"I'm grateful to West Brom and Steve Clarke for allowing Donervorn to join us and hopefully they will think he's improving and gaining from his experience here."
