West Brom defender Paul Robinson appears to have been priced out of a move to Bolton as they refuse to meet the £1m asking price.

The Trotters had originally offered £500,000 for the fan's favourite but that offer was dismissed as the Baggies are looking for a fee of £1m for the defender.

In response, Trotters boss Gary Megson has pulled out of the deal claiming that the full-back was overpriced.

Robinson remains keen on a move to a top flight club but it looks unlikely now that he will be joining former West Brom boss Megson at the Reebok Stadium.
