Striker Shane Long is reportedly set for contract talks with West Brom, despite having missed out on a deadline-day move to Hull.
The former Reading man left the Republic of Ireland camp to undergo a medical with the Tigers, but the switch was called off ahead of Monday's transfer deadline.
However, Baggies manager Steve Clarke is happy to have the 26-year-old as a part of his squad for the campaign ahead, despite the failed move to the KC Stadium.
Long is now expected to enter contract talks at the Hawthorns, according to the Birmingham Mail, as Albion are keen to resolve the forward's future before the current campaign comes to a close.
