West Brom are considering making a move for Cardiff boss Dave Jones but their chairman Peter Ridsdale has issued a hands-off warning.
Due to the departure of Tony Mowbray to Celtic the Baggies are now searching for a new manager and Bluebirds boss Jones is being strongly linked with a move to the Baggies.
Cardiff chairman Peter Ridsdale has issued a hands-off warning over his manager, a former Wolves boss, and says as far as he is aware Jones is happy where he is.
Risdale told the BBC: "Dave Jones as far as I'm concerned seems to be very happy here.
"He tells me he is happy but if any employee, whether they are the manager or players, are unhappy I don't want to keep them. He will have to decide if and when the hypothetical question of him going somewhere arises. I've had no contact from West Brom or any other club. I don't expect Dave Jones to leave."
St Johnston boss, and former West Brom midfielder, Derek McInnes has also been linked with the vacant post.
