Cardiff City are the latest club to be linked to Peter Odemwingie who has been left out of West Brom's pre-season tour of Austria.
Odemwingie is set to leave the Baggies after falling out of favour following his well-publicised attempt to try and secure a move to QPR in January.
Several Premier League clubs are interested in the Nigerian with Crystal Palace thought to be leading Hull in the chase for his signature.
However, Cardiff have also apparently now expressed an interest in the 32-year-old as their boss Malky Mackay looks for proven top-flight talent to aid his side in their bid to stay up this season.
Baggies boss Steve Clarke clearly has no future plans for Odemwingie after opting to leave the Nigerian back at home as the rest of the squad jetted out to their summer training camp to prepare for the new season.
New striker signing Nicolas Anelka and youngsters Donervorn Daniels, Cameron Gayle, Liam O'Neil, Kemar Roofe, Adil Nabi and Saido Berahino are in the 25-man squad who will face German side Hannover, local club Gleisdorf and Hungarian outfit Puskas FC Academy while in Austria.
