Peterborough manager Darren Ferguson is interested in a new loan deal for West Brom striker Saido Berahino.

Berahino joined Posh on loan in October but his stay at London Road was cut short the following month when he chipped a bone in his knee.

The 19-year-old is now well on the road to recovery and Ferguson told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "Up front is one area I may look to bring somebody in, but at the moment I'm fairly okay with what I've got.

"It depends how quickly Saido were to recover. If he were to recover and we had an opportunity to bring him back we would probably look at that."
