Robbo reveals deal delight

West BromDefender Paul Robinson says he did not hesitate to sign a new two-year deal to keep him at West Brom until summer 2010.

The 29-year-old, who joined the Baggies from Watford in 2003, had been linked with a possible move away from the Hawthorns over the summer, but he has finally put pen to paper on a deal which has an option for another 12 months.

Robinson, who has made nearly 200 appearances for Albion, told the club's website: "I am delighted to get it all sorted and get it out of the way.

"Now I can concentrate on my football.

"I had no doubts whatsoever. I am fully committed to the club.

"It is a big weight off my shoulders."
