Sam Allardyce admits the next week can catapult West Ham right back into the the automatic promotion race.

The Hammers play their game in hand at Peterborough on Tuesday night before a crunch clash against second-placed Reading at Upton Park on Saturday.

Allardyce's side are unbeaten in their last 10 matches, although seven of those were draws including the 2-2 draw at Burnley at the weekend.

"If I get a performance like that I'm sure we can win," said the Hammers boss.

"We deserved a win on Saturday so let's make sure we get it on Tuesday. Then we play Reading on Saturday and that's our chance to get back into second spot."
