LA Galaxy midfielder David Beckham has dismissed speculation that he could return to the Premier League with West Ham United.

The former Manchester United midfielder is happy at his current club according to a spokesman for the player.

West Ham have been linked with a number of big names this summer as they look to secure another season in the Premier League after avoiding relegation in the last campaign.

The spokesman for the 35-year-old denied that the player would be coming back to East London - where he was born.

He said: "Whilst it's flattering to hear of interest there has been no contact with or offer from West Ham.

"David is happy at the Los Angeles Galaxy and has no interest in leaving, and is looking forward to returning to the team on August 9."

Punters can use their free bet if they want to back the Hammers in the upcoming season.
