West Ham striker Andy Carroll is looking to keep his good recent scoring run going when he faces his former club Newcastle.
The Liverpool loan star has netted four times in his last five matches and the 24-year-old is now widely tipped to win back his England place for the end of season friendlies against Ireland and Brazil.
Carroll wants to keep his good run going to ensure he stays in Roy Hodgson's thoughts and is looking to add further woe to his relegation-haunted former club on Saturday.
"It will be a tough game, it is always difficult to play against them," Carroll told the club's website.
"They probably haven't had the season they wanted in terms of where they are in the league, but can still be a force and I am just looking forward to playing them.
"We did have a great result up there back in November, Kev got the goal. And we are playing really well at home and getting the results here, so we will definitely be looking to keep that going at the weekend as we feel confident."
