West Ham star Jack Collison says that this is a make or break week for the club as they face two home games in four days.

Aston Villa are the visitors to Upton Park on Wednesday night and they are quickly followed by Everton on Saturday and Welsh international Collison says it is crucial they pick up points.

The Hammers appeared to be on their way to three points at Sunderland but had to make do with just one but two wins out of two this week would see them push on out of the bottom three in the table.

He told the Mail: "You have to win your home games. The table will have a healthier look if we get those two wins behind us and that is our aim.

"The main plus is that we are creating a lot of chances and we look like we have lots of goals in us.

"We did well to score twice against Arsenal when other teams might have gone under and we got a couple at Sunderland and could have had more."
