West Ham are close to signing ex-Fulham keeper Jan Lastuvka from Shakhtar Donetsk to back up Robert Green.West Ham boss Alan Curbishley has been trying to sign the giant custodian for a fortnight but now looks set to land him after a fee was agreed and personal terms tied up.
He could make his Hammers debut in Friday's friendly at Southampton and is relishing a return to England.
"The offer from West Ham is there," Lastuvka told CTK.
"The club wants me and going back to the English league is definitely interesting and alluring."
