Barcelona forward Eidur Gudjohnsen admits he is open to a move to West Ham but he is not short of interest.

The Iceland international has bags of Premier League experience and will be in big demand this summer after spells with Bolton and Chelsea between 1998 and 2006.

Gudjohnsen played with Hammers boss Gianfranco Zola at Stamford Bridge and admits playing for the Italian appeals to him.

The 30-year-old told the Daily Star Sunday: "Returning to England is probably inevitable. There is a lot of interest from the Premier League.

"I had a great time with Chelsea and Gianfranco and I know the game inside out. I know I would adapt easily to the football there."
