A spokesperson for David Beckham says the England international has not been contacted about a move to West Ham.

The 35-year-old has been linked with a move to Upton Park since the turn of the year, with co-owners David Gold and David Sullivan reportedly keen to attract the former Manchester United star.

Gold had said that talks had taken place with Beckham's agent over a potential move back to England, but that story has now been quashed by his spokesperson, who claims they haven't been contacted by the Hammers' owners.

"Whilst it's flattering to hear of interest there has been no contact with or offer from West Ham," said the spokesman.

"David is happy at the Los Angeles Galaxy and has no interest in leaving, and is looking forward to returning to the team on August 9."
