French pair target Hammers striker

French pair Bordeaux and Nice have been tipped to move for West Ham striker Modibo Maiga before the transfer window closes.

Maiga has managed just two goals in 19 appearances in all competitions this season and is set to find his first-team chances limited in the remainder of the campaign due to the loan capture of Marco Boriello from Roma and the return of Andy Carroll from injury.

The Mali international joined West Ham from Sochaux in the summer of 2012 and is now seemingly set for a move back to Ligue 1, with both Bordeaux and Nice considering bids for the 26-year-old striker.
