Hammers accept Ferdinand bid - reports

West HamWest Ham have reportedly accepted an £8m offer from Sunderland for centre-half Anton Ferdinand who is set to decide his future.

Ferdinand is said to be considering the offer and will give the Black Cats an answer at some point on Monday, but the fact an agreement has been reached between the clubs puts a doubt over his future at Upton Park.

The 23-year-old was missing from the side which beat Wigan at the weekend and has been the subject of much speculation over the summer, with Spurs the favourites to sign him although their reported bid of £6m never materialised.

Now it looks like a move to the north east is on the cards if Ferdinand can agree terms with Roy Keane's side.
