Hammers deny a move for United ace

West Ham have distanced themselves from reports that they are set to make a January loan move for Manchester United's Wilfried Zaha.

The England Under-21 winger is finding first team football difficult to come by at Old Trafford following his move from Crystal Palace in the summer and that has led to reports suggesting a loan deal could be on the cards.

The Hammers were linked but have denied the reports claiming they have plenty of wide men already at Upton Park, with Matt Jarvis, Stewart Downing, Joe Cole, and Ricardo Vaz Te all currently vying for the limited spaces available, and do not need anymore.

The Hammers laughed off speculation that the deal was off because of the spat between Zaha and Ravel Morrison during Tuesday's England-under 21 win over Lithuania, claiming that was finished and forgotten before the match ended.
