Hammers eye Aussie ace

West HamAlan Curbishley is said to be one of a number of Premiership bosses who are ready to make a £5m move for Palermo's Mark Bresciano.

Reports over the weekend say that Bresciano has set his sights on a move to the Premiership and that Palermo are ready to do business at the £5m for the Australian.

The Hammers are not alone in their interest in the player though as Blackburn, Fulham and Manchester City are all said to have been alerted to his availability.

The 28-year-old's versatility is a big attraction for his Premier League suitors given the fact he anywhere across midfield and also as a support striker.
