West Ham are set for a boost on the injury front this weekend with the return of left-back George McCartney to the side.
The defender has returned to first-team training since picking up the knee ligament injury back in early December and his absence has been keenly felt at Upton Park.
In the meantime youngster Dan Potts has stepped in and, when he got injured himself, Joey O'Brien has also played there but both with limited success in the role.
The news that McCartney has returned to training and possibly onto the pitch at Chelsea on Sunday is a major boost to boss Sam Allardyce, who is looking for the side to build on their win at Stoke City last time out.
