West Ham are being linked with a switch for Spanish striker Antonito when the transfer window opens in January.
The Hammers had scouts watching the 30-year-old Xerez striker in action against Las Palmas last weekend and that is the second time they have had him watched.
His club are said to be short of money and may look to cash in on the player, who has top flight experience in Spain with Sevilla, Racing Santander and Recreativo Huelva, when the window opens in the new year.
"I've heard the rumours but I still haven't spoken to anybody about it," said Antonito.
