West Ham boss Sam Allardyce is the latest in a line of managers linked with a summer move for Charlton's Diego Poyet.

The Hammers boss is not alone in looking at Poyet, son of Sunderland boss Gus, as Tottenham and Southampton are also being linked with a move for the midfielder.

Born in Spain but an England under-17 star, Poyet is highly rated at The Valley and there are a queue of clubs looking to take him off the struggling Addicks hands and much may depend on whether Chris Powell's men are successful in their battle with the drop in the Championship.
