West Ham boss Sam Allardyce is looking to bring in another striker and former Malaga frontman Javier Saviola is the latest linked.
Record signing Andy Carroll will lead the line but with the departure of Carlton Cole, who is expected to join Crystal Palace this week, the Hammers need more strength up front.
Saviola is a free agent after leaving Malaga last month and with such a pedigree of clubs behind him, including both Real Madrid and Barcelona, there will be no shortage of takers for the Argentine.
Saviola has played for teams in Argentina, France, Portugal and Spain but he has never played in England and may well be looking to change that, with newly promoted Cardiff also looking to land him.
