Hammers play down Green exit talk

West Ham manager Alan Curbishley has played down speculation linking goalkeeper Robert Green with a move to Arsenal.

Reports have been circulating that the Gunners were preparing to make a move for the former Norwich keeper, who is unsettled at Upson Park after not being offered a new contract with the club.

However, Curbishley has played down the transfer rumour, saying that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has no interest in signing Green.

"I was with Arsene Wenger at a meeting on Wednesday and nothing was said," stated the Hammers boss.
