Happy Harry staying at Pompey

West HamPortsmouth boss Harry Redknapp claims he is happy at Fratton Park following weekend reports of a return to former club West Ham.

Redknapp managed the Hammers between 1994 and 2001 before leaving in acrimonious circumstances but he had been linked with a return now the club is under different ownership

Current West Ham chief Alan Curbishley is the bookies' favourite to be the first boss to lose his job in the Premier League this season but Redknapp says he is not a possible replacement.

"I am not interested in going anywhere else," he is quoted by the Daily Star. "I have had some offers before but I am happy where I am."

Redknapp came close to joining Newcastle in January but then pledged to see out his managerial career at Pompey.
