Jarvis holds England hopes

Last Updated: Thu, 21 Nov 2013 09:57

West Ham winger Matt Jarvis has not totally given up on being on the plane to Brazil with England next summer.

Jarvis last played for England back in 2011 against Ghana and has been in and out of the West Ham side this season, so the chances of fighting his way back in to the England set up look slim.

The former Wolves winger is not giving up hope though and will be doing his best for West Ham in the hope of getting noticed, although he knows it looks like an uphill task.

"You never say never," he told West Ham TV.

"You have to dream, you have to set your sights high.

"I just want to make sure that I am playing well for West Ham, playing week-in, week-out and if I can do that, then who knows."
