West Ham's new signing Enner Valencia will miss the clash with Wellington Phoenix on Wednesday as he has yet to receive clearance.

The Ecuador star, who netted three goals in their World Cup campaign, has yet to receive his international clearance and therefore will not be able to link up with his team-mates.

Meanwhile reports that Croatia defender Ivan Strinic is about to sign for the Hammers appear a little premature with a club spokesman saying "There in nothing imminent on any signings at the moment."
