Norwich boss Chris Hughton says he wants to add a new striker to his squad and is considering making an offer for Carlton Cole.

The Canaries are desperate to land a new striker as goals have been hard to come by for Norwich this season, they have netted just eight times. Hammers striker Cole is near the top of their shopping list, along with Arsenal's Marouane Chamakh.

Cole has found first-team football hard to come by at Upton Park, where on-loan striker Andy Carroll is first choice, so he may be open to a move elsewhere if his chances at West Ham remain restricted.
