Quartet battle it out for Johnson

West HamEverton striker Andy Johnson appears to be heading out of the Goodison Park exit door with West Ham linked with a late move for him.

Johnson was not involved as Everton travelled to Nottingham Forrest and fought out a 1-1 draw on Friday night as Andy van-der Meyde netted for the Toffees.

Fulham are thought to have made an offer of £10.5million for the England international but West Ham, Wigan and Sunderland are all said to be very keen on the player.

As soon as David Moyes finds a replacement then Johnson will be on his way to the highest bidder and Hammers boss Alan Curbishley could become involved in the fight for his signature if, as reported, Craig Bellamy is sold to Manchester City.
