Reports in France claim Sam Allardyce has made a move to sign Nice defender Timothee Kolodziejczak as he looks to strengthen his squad.

The Hammers boss knows he needs to add to his squad over the summer after being instructed to improve next season or face the consequences and he has a pressing need for a left-back having seen George McCartney leave the club.

French publication Get French Football News is reporting that West Ham have made a £2.5m move for the 22 year-old who has won international caps for France at Under-20 level and who's performances for Nice has seen interest in him grow.
