West Ham have not reached an agreement with Vitesse Arnhem over striker Wilfried Bony, despite reports to the contrary.
It had been widely rumoured that the Hammmers had reached an agreement with the Dutch side and that the Ivory Coast international would be on his way to Upton Park in the summer.
That is not the case, though, according to Vitesse director Erwin Kasakowski and the top scorer in the Dutch League is now being strongly linked with a move to London rivals Chelsea as well as Liverpool.
Kasakowski said: "I do not understand how those stories are in the media, there is nothing to say because no club has lodged a bid with us. This is not the time for Vitesse to talk about transfers."
Boss Sam Allardyce is looking to add quality to his side in the summer but the deal for Bony looks to be anything but cut and dried.
