West Ham look to have missed out on signing striker Wilfried Bony after Swansea agreed a fee with his club Vitesse Arnhem.
The Hammers have been strongly linked with a move for the striker but, since the record-breaking arrival of Andy Carroll things have cooled, and it now looks like the Swans have won the race for his signature.
Reports claim that a fee of £12million has now been agreed between the two clubs and Bony could be confirmed at the Liberty Stadium before the week is out.
Personal terms are thought to have been hammered out last week and Bony will just have to pass a medical at the club before putting pen-to-paper in the coming days.
West Ham are still on the lookout for a player to play alongside Carroll following the departure of Carlton Cole earlier this summer.
