Bruce reveals striker doubts

Wigan boss Steve Bruce is ready to pull the plug on striker Marlon King's proposed £2m move to Premier League new boys Hull City.

The former Watford favourite has struggled to prove himself at the JJB since arriving in January and Latics are ready to take a loss on the Jamaica international.

The Tigers claim the deal has been delayed by King's severance package but Bruce has now admitted he is unhappy at the way the transfer has dragged on.

"It's not happening at the moment, so I'll probably knock the offer on the head," Bruce told the Daily Mail.

"It's gone on long enough."
