Wigan's out-of-favour defender Eric Edman has rejoined Swedish side Helsingborgs.
The former Spurs defender, who joined Wigan for £500,000 in the summer of 2008, has not played for Latics since coming on as a substitute in the 5-0 defeat at Manchester United while his first start came in the 9-1 mauling at Tottenham when he endured a nightmare against winger Aaron Lennon.
Edman's future was in doubt over the January transfer window and now it has been confirmed he has moved back to Helsingborgs - the team he first played professionally with back in 1998.
