Wigan Athletic defenders Titus Bramble and Emmerson Boyce have signed new three-year contract extensions with the club.
The defensive stalwarts have been reportedly interesting Aston Villa and Wolves respectively, but have put pen to paper on new contracts in a show of faith to new Latics boss Roberto Martinez.
Speaking to the Wigan Evening Post, Bramble re-affirmed his commitment to the Latics while Boyce admitted he was relieved to finally sort out his future after almost a year of negotiations.
The ex-Newcastle defender said: "This is where I want to be, and I'm very happy to be signing a new contract and staying here. I'm very happy."
Boyce said: "It's been going on since last summer, and it's been a bit frustrating for me.
"To start with the two sides were quite a way apart in terms of reaching an agreement, but it all been sorted out."
