Roberto Martinez says Jordi Gomez has recovered from a couple of bumps and bruises and will be fit to face Millwall.
Gomez was in the wars during Wigan's 1-1 draw against Queens Park Rangers at the weekend but Martinez says he will be fit enough to take his place in the squad for the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley.
"Jordi has a couple of scratches on his head from the incident that saw Bobby Zamora sent off at QPR," Martinez revealed. "He also had a really nasty challenge on his ankle in the second half, which fortunately didn't do too much damage.
"I don't expect him to be out for any length of time - and that is what tends to happen in Wembley week. Any bump or bruise that would ordinarily have caused a problem mysteriously disappears for some reason."
Fellow midfielder James McCarthy also picked up a knock during the clash at Loftus Road but Martinez says he will also be fit, while he has no other fresh injury problems in his squad ahead of the game.
