Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins says he has not heard from anyone about Ashley Williams and links to Wigan are just 'rumours'.
Latics boss Roberto Martinez has been heavily linked with another raid on his former club for the 25-year-old Welsh Player of the Year in the January transfer window. However Jenkins insists Williams is happy at the Liberty Stadium, while no club has expressed an interest in signing him next month.
"Ashley has recently signed a long-term deal and we wanted him tied down," he said.
"In this day and age you can never say what is going to happen in the future, but what we do know is Ashley is settled in Swansea and he enjoys playing for our club.
"I haven't heard from anyone about him - there have been no inquiries about any of our players, and we hope it stays that way.
"These sorts of rumours are just part of football.
"When anybody is relatively successful in the Championship, there is always something about players moving on.
"Players will get good publicity when their team is doing well.
"Ashley is a strong defender, he is playing well and he has had extra publicity recently because of his achievements at international level.
"Any speculation that comes with that is just something we have to put up with."
