Emmerson Boyce has revealed he is looking forward to working with new boss Roberto Martinez after signing his new three-year deal.
The highly-rated defender agreed to extend his stay at the DW Stadium, despite Steve Bruce's leaving to take over the Sunderland hot seat. And Boyce feels Martinez will bring an exciting brand of football to the club and he would like to remain a part of that.
He said: "I've been impressed with the new manager and he has brought a lot of energy into the club with him.
"Swansea City received a lot of plaudits last season about how well they played and you can only assume he wants to bring that style of play to Wigan Athletic - I'm really happy to be a part of it."
